Yvon W. Cormier, 79, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB on Saturday, May 18, 2002 after a brief illness.
 Born in Pré-d'en-Haut on January 19, 1923, he was the son of the the late Willie Cormier and Jeanne (LeBlanc). He was a Moulder Helper for the C.N.R. Foundry and a member of the Golden Age Club of Pré-d'en-Haut.
He is survived by his wife Yvonne Cormier; one daughter Annette (Freddie) LeBlanc of Calgary; three sons, Bernard (Rose) of Dieppe, Léonide (Rosa) of Pré-d'en-Haut, Valérie (Aline) of Dieppe; one sister Marie-Louise (Paul-Emile) Belliveau of Pré-d’en-Haut; three brothers, Mélas (Julie) of Dieppe, Léo-Paul (Marie) of Moncton, Laurie of Moncton; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Dorilla, Jeannita, Amanda; brothers Alyre, Dominique, Amédée.
Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with Funeral service at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut on Monday May 20 at 7pm. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
